A grille is a device for supplying or extracting air vertically without any deflection. A diffuser normally has profiled blades to direct the air at an angle as it leaves the unit into the space.
Available in aluminum, galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, the Deflection Grilles (Single & Double Deflection, SD/DD 800-2000 series) are able to have adjustable flow pattern and threw length and thus providing the required air diffusion pattern (Double Deflection) and exhaust/return applications (Single Deflection).
Available in aluminum, galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, Louvre Grille (LG 400-700 series) is highly customizable when it comes to effective free area. Suitable for both wall and ceiling installation, Louvre Grille is designed for return, exhaust and intake applications.

The light troffer’s (ALTS 300 series) design provide superior air distribution at low sound levels when interfaced with compatible with a wide range of air handling light fixtures. Light Troffer is excellent choice for VAV systems as they provide high induction ratio and fixed horizontal airflow pattern.
Available in aluminum, galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, the perforated diffuser is designed for delivering large laminarized air flow with an effective area of about 40% (see-through area of >70%). With Prudentaire’s proprietary Radial OBD design, the Perforated Diffuser is capable of providing multiple directional configurations (up to five possible directional configurations) with minimal pressure loss.
Available in both galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, the Swirl Diffuser (SFS 7000 – 8000 series) can be operated over a wide range of varying airflow without effects of dumping. With its high induction effects, the Swirl Diffuser is capable of eliminating drafts, stratification, concentrated cold areas.
Used in large occupied areas where ceiling or ducting installations are unsuitable, the Jet Nozzle (JNA 400 series) is capable to direct and deliver up high flowrate over distance up to 30 m. It is suited for locations with ever-changing environments and operating parameters. Designed to be aerodynamically contoured, Jet Nozzle is able to operate with minimum noise, pressure loss and turbulence. Flow direction can be easily adjusted up to 30 Degree multi-directional.
Available in aluminum, galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, the non-return damper (NRDS 900 series) is designed to prevent backflow of air. It can also be used to automatically shut-off or isolate a section of the system to prevent ingress of undesirable vapour and vermints.
Available in both galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, the volume control damper (VCDS 800 series) is designed for controlling air flow and pressure in HVAC systems.
With its blade operation closing system, Louvre type fire damper is used to localize areas of fire in ventilation systems and thus impeding the spread of fire and hazardous gases. Available in both standard and motorized configurations.For spring-loaded configuration, it automatically closes by spring force when the fuse link breaks at 74 c. The activated blades are held in placed with both spring force and the blade return catch.
Prudent Aire’s Rectangular Silencer are designed for silencing noise transmitted through duct works, utilize sound absorbing media to reduce sound levels. As the discharge noise passes through the silencer. The acoustic energy enters the baffles through the holes in the internal perforated plate. This perforated plate protects the acoustic media from being eroded by the air at high velocities, but have a large enough free area to be acoustically transparent. Once inside the baffle, the acoustic energy interacts with the absorptive media, the friction between the acoustic energy and the fiber glass converts the acoustic energy into heat, thereby reducing the amount of acoustic energy and decreasing sound levels at discharge of the silencer.
REGISTER GRILLE
A register is a grill with moving parts, capable of being opened and closed and the air flow directed, which is part of a building’s heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. The placement and size of registers is critical to HVAC efficiency.
Available in aluminum & stainless steel construction, the egg crate grilles (EGA 900 series) are mainly use in facilities that has low noise requirements, for return, exhaust application. The Egg Crate Grille can be either wall or ceiling mounted.
Available in aluminum, galvanized steel & stainless steel construction, external Louvre Grille (EL 1000 series) mainly used in exterior installations for air discharge or intake, as well as providing protection against water ingress.
Readily available in aluminum, stainless steel & even wood constructions, Prudentaire is capable of producing highly customizable Linear Bar Grilles. Bar grilles are usually used for supply and exhaust of cooled or heated air in facilities such as offices, public areas like shopping centers, hotels and airports.
Commonly used in wide open spaces where duct work is not possible but requiring proper ventilation, the Jet Diffuser (JDA/S 100 series) is able to deliver air to localized targeted area over large distance up to 50 m. Depending on model type, the air flow direction is adjustable in two planes (4-way diffuser).

The Round Diffuser (RDA/RDPA/RPDA 200 series) has a versatile design to provide a wide range of flow, ceiling height and supply temperature. Due to its design, the Round Diffuser is suitable for use in wide variety of buildings and applications.
Used in areas where ceiling air distribution solutions is impossible, Ball Jet Nozzle (BJD 300 series) is simple to install and commission with adjustable flow deflection up to 45 Deg multi-directional. Capable of directing large volume of air over distances, the Ball Jet Nozzle is designed for spot cooling and high/long air throw. Adjustable flowrate is achieved with the built-in hit and miss damper.

With its simple yet robust design, Curtain type Fire damper (PFDC) is used to localizeareas of fire in ventilation systems and thus impeding the spread of fire and hazardous gases.The design principle based on interlocking blades that closes under gravitation force when the connecting thermal link breaks at set temperature.With interlocking blades design, the damper provides the maximum free area and imposes minimal resistance to air flow system.
Available in both aluminum & galvanized steel construction, the Acoustic Louvre (ALS 4000 series) is designed as an external louvre for both air discharge and intake, at the same time provide protection against water ingress and noise breakout.
Used mainly in Green Buildings, the VAV Box (VAV 20 series) maintains proper minimum airflow set points to ensure proper ventilation in an occupied space. Unlike many VAV terminals which required the most ideal flow conditions in order to operate at their optimum, Prudent Aire’s VAV units are able to perform even at least ideal conditions (minimum 1D bend & 2D branch). Unlike many flow sensors, the unit’s airflow sensor grid comes with 5 individual traverse lines connecting to a central averaging chamber to give a more accurate reading. This center averaging, which lacks in many VAV terminal units, is the single most important feature required for accurate airflow measurement.
